I wrote, produced and performed this CD.
I don't think writers and composers can tell you what or how music is
written...unless they are part of "music factories".
Music just comes to me. Sometimes I can sit down and write...and sometimes I
can't write my name on a brick wall.
After coming off the road for 18 months and traveling12 countries and 42
states..it was time for me just to "play around".
"Decompress" as they call it now.
On this particular CD, 8 months in the making, every song just came. I
experimented with instruments complimenting each other in order to get a "full
sound".
There's a lot of stuff going on in this CD.
It was fun to make, sometimes bordering on manic...but then the music says it
all.
Mind Matters by composer Paul Zaleski is a new age
instrumental with a soul.
Flutes carry alter melodic lines, while a steady undercurrent beat keeps driving
on most of these contemporary piano
instrumentals and mood music tracks.
